Tim Freccia specializes in filing from compromised environments. He has covered humanitarian disaster and conflict for the last 25 years on most continents. He spent ten months of 2005 documenting the Indian Ocean tsunami response and has recently covered the war and resulting humanitarian crisis in Eastern Congo for major NGOs and media outlets. He splits his time between Berlin, Africa and the Middle East.
